Hello! I'm Lauren Baum, the owner/proprietor/baker of The Baum Challah. 

The Baum Challah evolved from a pandemic hobby in my kitchen. I've always loved challah but found bakery challahs to often be dry and uninspired. I decided to develop my own recipe using high quality ingredients that I felt good about serving to my kids. Soon people were offering to pay me to make them challahs and thus a business was born. As my customer base grew, I transitioned to baking at a full scale commercial bakery which has allowed me to expand my capacity and bring my challah to customers all over the LA area.
