Unfortunately we do not offer delivery at this time. Local pick up only.

Where can I pick up my challah?
There are two options for picking up your Baum Challah (but more are coming soon):
  1. The Baum HQ in Valley Village on Fridays
  2. Temple Beth Hillel on Fridays during drop off (Temple Beth Hillel is only available for parents with children currently enrolled at the ECE or elementary)
Are you certified kosher?
We are not kosher certified but we bake in a kosher style facility.

Do your challahs contain dairy?
The challah dough has no dairy. The only dairy is in the flavors that contain chocolate or cheese.

Do your challahs contain eggs?
Yes. And we do offer a vegan plain option.

Do you make a gluten free challah?
No but we have a partner who makes excellent gluten free challahs and babkas. Check out @momalasgf on Instagram.

What kind of flour do you use?
We only use King Arthur bread flour.

How long do your challahs last?
If you haven’t eaten the whole loaf in one sitting, the rest should be good for 3-5 days at room temperature. The best way to keep your leftover Baum Challah fresh is to freeze it. They all freeze very well.

What’s the best way to thaw frozen challah?
Remove it from the freezer several hours before you want to eat it. When it’s almost thawed, heat it for just a few minutes at 300 degrees.

Do you have to be Jewish to enjoy The Baum Challah?
Definitely NOT.

Are your challahs really the Baum?
Yes.
